Sarah Keller - Art Director/Graphic Designer. Workchoice Day Student in 1996
Sarah Keller is another of the Trust's success stories. Sarah went on Workchoice Day in 96 and one of the companies she remembers is Dunham Bremmer - an advertising agency. Her main focus at school was photography, design and painting and she hoped there was a career out there for her that required creative skills. She says that Workchoice Day was a great eyeopener for everyone - especially the arty types like her who saw that they could actually make a living doing something they love. The visit gave Sarah a feel for advertising and design and she went on to achieve a bachelor of graphic design at AUT - also majoring in photography. After graduating, she landed a job at Barnesadvertising where she has worked as an Art Director for 5 years. Sarah is responsible for designing and producing a wide range of work for the agency's clients - from brochures to billboards. Part of Sarah's role also includes doing branding for the Workchoice Trust and hosting students on Workchoice Day. Sarah has the chance to open a student's eyes in the same way hers were and she says "It's great to help students learn what opportunities are out there and know they've gained insight of the advertising process."
